I have decided to stock the SWRVE Milwaukee Jackets. The jackets are made by hand in Los Angeles, are constructed of a water-resistant fabric and are cut to fit a rider on a bike. Insofar as the fabric seams are not “welded” the jacket is not “water-proof,” but the water resistant fabric is enough to handle the damp mornings or late late late San Francisco nights. The on-bike cut includes slightly longer sleeves to cover your wrists while you are in the drops, a slightly longer “tail” section to cover your lower back as you lean forward, two zippered rear cycling pockets, two front hoodie pockets, a front zipper, a drawstring hoodie and two little eyelets in the underarm for ‘breathability.’ We retail the jackets for $110.
I havent taken my own photos so here are the stock photos from the SWRVE website:

Currently I am stocking the grey and the black because those are the colors I prefer and customers seem to want, but they are also available in other colors including the above pictured pea and tan. If you have not had a chance to checkout their website(s) I think that they offer a pretty diverse amount of products. Their website is about as technologically advanced as ours, but then again they are a clothing company not a web design firm.
We are also stocking the SWRVE wool caps. I think they make a nice addition to the Chuey and Randi Jo caps we carry. The SWRVE models are constructed of a lightweight suit style wool and are generally very subdued and subtle. We retail the caps for $28.
Again another stock photo (apologies!):

are tight, but sometimes suck
and get stuck in the chain. So we have knickers, a modified clothing between shorts and pants!

Its been a pretty awesome holiday season. Lots of activities, both in and out of the shop, both in and out of the bike world. I came across a couple of photos from very early in Box Dog history that I thought were pretty amusing, and we received some new handmade goods (!).
New products have arrived in the mail!
inventory is constantly changing. Here is a picture of my favorite one: its blue corduroy with fancy pink dots. Pretty & Pimp.
Here is a detail of his bird logo. OG Chuey!
