This should be fun:

Mission Mission 2009 Alleycat
Sunday October 4th 2009 11am start at Potrero del Sol park in San Francisco. Not a Box Dog Bikes event, but lots of good sponsors. Food and beer for all, prizes for some! More info here.
Check out this Custom ReLoad x Cadence Deluxe Messenger Bag! Way rad! Only $290.

Also from Cadence, laminated double straps. $66, giving Toshi a run for their money.

We just got these awesome contoured frame pumps in various lengths. They’re produced by a Dutch company called BBB. We’ve been using some of their small parts in our service department for a while, and have been impressed. Starting at $30.

We also got the new Fixation Session 700 Tires. These are the first purpose built 700c freestyle tire on the market. They feature a kevlar bead, BMX-style wraparound tread design, and general burlyness. $54.

Ian and I both raced Dirty Dave’s Mission Path Race this weekend.
We rode from from Dolores Park to Battery Point to Heron’s head and points in between. It was a gorgeous day and the race was well planned.
Each checkpoint included a obstacle or dirty loop or three to complete. Finishing with chips and drinks at Rickshaw Bagworks was a crowd of pooped riders.

Well, I was pooped. Click on any of the above pictures for more pictures from the race day.

Today was really awesome. Thanks to Gabe E and John B for organizing and promoting the race. Thank you to John, Gabe, Wendy, Katie, Kacey and everyone else who volunteered at the checkpoints. Also thank you to our sponsors and thank you to Thieves Tavern for hosting our party. Today was really rad – thanks! If you have any photos from the race tag them with “September 2008 Rallycat”. If you rode in the race today and see Gabe or John say hi to them and thank them for putting on the race. It really was their hard work and dedication that made today possible.(Click through either photograph to see the entire flickr set)
