This summer we had an awesome weenie roast. Claire silk-screened some T’s for us and we set up a tie-dye factory in the back of the shop. Thanks to everyone who made it an awesome evening. Here’s some of the art stars

Its tons of fun to throw events like these, but sometimes lots of work. One of the things about being a for-profit institution is that every bit of the structure pushes you to make decisions that make more money. Sometimes, however, that’s not really what you want to do. Hopefully we’ll be having more events like these in the future, where we can open up our space and let people come in and create. Till then…
